SPEAKER'S NEW MEDIA EXCHANGE VISITS SANWOOLU
SPEAKER'S NEW MEDIA EXCHANGE
From the table of the P.A on new media exchange to the speaker of the house of assembly
As the Speaker's New Media Exchange draws ever closer, consultations expand like ripples on water---broad, intentional, and inclusive---ensuring that both leaders and the led are carried along on this historic and progressive journey.
In the spirit of collaboration, my team and I paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. A quintessential statesman and a gold standard for progressive leadership, Governor Sanwo-Olu continues to champion youth-centric policies, backed by a dynamic cabinet that reflects the energy and innovation of the younger generation. Among these bright minds is Mr. Jubril Gawat @Mr_JAGs (The GROK)----a standout talent and one of the many testaments to the Governor’s belief in youthful excellence.
While receiving his official invitation to the Exchange, Mr. Governor commended the initiative, describing it as timely and insightful---especially at a moment when national discourse demands clarity, inclusivity, and digital engagement. He also gave glowing praise to Speaker Abbas, applauding his deft leadership and political finesse in managing a House of 359 other members--- each with no shortage of ego or aspiration. For a chamber once famous for its ruckus to remain remarkably calm for nearly two years? That, he noted, is a masterclass in patience, maturity, and diplomacy.
Indeed, the Speaker's New Media Exchange is a groundbreaking initiative. For the first time, digital media stakeholders will have a rare, direct interface with key decision-makers---an open arena for meaningful dialogue, idea exchange, and constructive deliberation on issues that matter most.
