 APC Sets Chairmanship Nomination Fee at N5 Million, Councillorship at N1 Million in Lagos.



*The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has announced the official nomination fees for aspirants ahead of the upcoming local government elections across the state.*


*According to the party, the nomination fee for chairmanship aspirants has been pegged at N5 million, while those vying for councillorship positions are expected to pay N1 million. An additional administrative charge of N500,000 applies to all categories of candidates.*


*In a move aimed at promoting inclusiveness and encouraging wider participation, especially among underrepresented groups, the party stated that youths and women will pay only 50% of the stipulated nomination fees. This means eligible female and youth aspirants for chairmanship will pay N2.5 million, and N500,000 for councillorship, excluding the standard administrative fee.*
