FOUNDATION LAYING CEREMONY OF THE NUT IKORODU CMS TEACHERS' ESTATE, IKORODU 




In a admark move that reflects dedication to the welfare and future of its members, the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Ikorodu Branch, is laying the foundation for the Teachers Estate under the auspices of Cooperative Multipurpose Society (CMS) a baby-body of NUT Ikorodu Branch. This significant event is taking place today, Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Igbe-Oladehinde, Ikorodu, Lagos State.


The Teachers Estate project is a visionary initiative of the CMS, a legacy founded in 2017 by Comrade Fakolade Oluwafemi Oluwaseun-JP, the dynamic and passionate Chairman of NUT Ikorodu Branch & his Executive Council. 


Since its inception, CMS has remained committed to empowering teachers through cooperative support and long-term developmental goals.


This foundation laying ceremony marks a bold step in actualizing the dreams of teachers in Ikorodu — to own decent and affordable homes, built through collective effort and trusted leadership. 


Comrade Fakolade, whose legacy continues to inspire progress within the union, will be personally laying the foundation stone, reinforcing his unwavering commitment to teachers’ development and welfare.
