The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ikorodu Cooperative Multipurpose Society is thrilled to announce the Foundation Laying Ceremony of its landmark project, the Teachers’ Estate, scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 am. The event will take place at the Teachers’ Estate Site, Igbe Laara (Igbe Oladeinde), Ikorodu, Lagos State. Among dignitaries expected at the event are all the Baales in Igbe to be led by Baale Paul Aniyikaye representing the Oba of Igbogbo HRH Orimadegun Kasali the Oba of Igbogbo.


This significant milestone marks the beginning of a visionary initiative aimed at providing affordable and dignified housing for teachers, a project that underscores the NUT Ikorodu CMS’s commitment to improving the welfare of its members. The Teachers’ Estate is poised to become a model for sustainable and accessible housing solutions for educators in the region.The Executive Committee of NUT Ikorodu CMS extends a warm invitation to the general public, stakeholders, community leaders, and well-wishers to join in celebrating this historic occasion.
