erroneous transfer from my Union Bank account to an Opay
It's good to have good lawyers o. Last week Tuesday, I made an erroneous transfer from my Union Bank account to an Opay account. I immediately lodged a "dispute" complaint on the Union Mobile app. I then called the phone number attached to the Opay account to plead with him. The guy said the money did not drop. I was able to confirm from Opay that the money didn't drop for real.
The next day, I went to Union Bank to complain. The desk officer that attended to me said the transaction was successful and I would need a court order to get it reversed. I reached out to them on Twitter too and they said the transaction was successful but they'll work on it.
The next morning (Thursday), I reached out to my lawyers at @Irisattorneyslp through their principal, @RidwanuLlah. The following day, an electronic copy of the court order was sent to me. I was still thinking about how I'll print and submit it this week, only for me to be told that they have served both banks already. In just a little over 24 hours, they didn't just get the court order, they served the banks on my behalf. Guess who just got his money back this morning? Arojinle!
